Three Colin Ng Partners Move to Singapore's Virtus Law

Singapore law firm Virtus Law has added three partners to its corporate practice.

Elaine Beh, Allan Tan and Kong Seh Ping are all joining 11-lawyer Virtus Law from Colin Ng & Partners, where they were also partners.

Beh, who previously led Colin Ng’s corporate practice, represents Singaporean companies and multinationals on transactions including initial public offerings, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. She joined Colin Ng in 1991 from Singapore firm Lee & Lee.

Tan handles in capital markets and M&A transactions, as well as regulatory and compliance matters. He joined Colin Ng in 2006 as a partner from Singapore firm Yeo-Leong & Peh. Before that he was a partner at Arthur Loke Bernard Rada & Lee, the firm that eventually evolved into Virtus Law last April. Earlier in his career, he worked as an in-house lawyer at Singapore Press Holdings Ltd.

Kong advises on cross-border M&A and joint ventures with an emphasis on start-ups and technology companies. She joined Colin Ng in 2009 as a partner from Drew & Napier where she was an associate director. Earlier in her career, she also worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hong Kong.
