K&L Gates Hires Partner in Singapore
K&L Gates has hired a partner in Singapore.
Siew Kam Boon is joining from O’Melveny & Myers, where she was a counsel advising on mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. She will also work in K&L Gates’ Shanghai office.
Boon specializes in deals between China and Indonesia, advising investment funds and corporations on transactions in the resources, technology and consumer sectors.
Prior to her four years at O’Melveny, Boon was an associate at White & Case in Singapore between 2007 and 2009. She also previously worked at Allen & Gledhill.
K&L Gates has 12 lawyers, including five partners, in its Singapore office. The firm has about 1,750 lawyers in 48 offices worldwide.
