Dentons has added a partner to its Hong Kong office.
Wei Guangqin was previously a special counsel at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson specializing in corporate finance and capital markets.
He joined Fried Frank’s New York office out of law school in 2004 and relocated to Hong Kong in 2007. In 2009 he left the firm for a year to serve as an adviser to the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s strategic planning and development committee. He returned to Fried Frank in 2010 and was promoted to special counsel the following year.
Dentons has 20 lawyers in its Hong Kong office and over 2,600 around the world.
