Baker & McKenzie has opened an office in Myanmar.
Sydney partner Chris Hughes has relocated to Yangon to lead the new office, which opened Tuesday after the firm received government approval for the launch. Hughes will oversee a team of five locally qualified lawyers as well as a small number of foreign lawyers who will relocate from other Baker & McKenzie offices in the region.
