Mid-sized Australian firms Thomsons Lawyers and Herbert Geer have announced plans to merge.
The combination will become effective March 31, with the resulting firm to be known as Thomson Geer. It will have about 310 lawyers, including 81 partners, in offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
