DLA Piper Adds Beijing IP Partner
DLA Piper is adding a partner in Beijing.
Jones Day intellectual property partner Horace Lam will join the firm in October.
Lam handles both contentious and non-contentious IP matters, largely acting for multinational companies on China-related issues..
He joined Jones Day’s Beijing office in 2011 from Hogan Lovells, where he had headed the China IP practice in China and served as managing partner of the Beijing office. He joined the former Lovells in 1996 and became a partner in 2008.
DLA Piper’s Beijing office now has about 20 lawyers, including five partners. The firm has 4,200 lawyers in 30 countries worldwide.
