A LexisNexis study released Tuesday shows that the nation's largest law firms—those with at least 750 attorneys—saw their slice of outside counsel fall from 26 percent to 20 percent over a three-year period that ended on June 30, 2013. Firms with 201-500 lawyers, meanwhile, saw their share of the market jump from 18 percent to 22 percent.
