Revenue per lawyer for The Global 100 was $784,297. Wachtell, Lipton Rosen & Katz is at the top of the chart with an RPL of almost $2.5 million. Twenty other firms topped the $1 million mark. American firms represent nine of the top ten, and 28 out of the top 30 firms on this list. Slaughter and May is the highest-ranking non-American firm, coming in at number six. Only three other non-American firms made the top 50: Freshfields, Linklaters, and McCarthy Tétrault.

Revenue per lawyer is calculated by dividing gross revenue by the number of lawyers. Figures for U.S. firms were obtained from the 2013 Am Law 100. All other firms were surveyed directly.
