Two more private equity deals and a strategic buy by the world’s largest consulting firm are helping Kirkland & Ellis continue its surge up the M&A league tables.

Kirkland, the subject of a feature story in the current issue of The American Lawyer, took the lead Monday advising longtime private equity client Vista Equity Partners on its $906 million purchase of cybersecurity software maker Websense. The firm is also counseling Landmark Partners on its $425 million secondary acquisition of a legacy energy portfolio owned by HM Capital, as well as advising Accenture on its $316 million buy of digital marketing start-up Acquity Group.
