Putting Nonequity Partner Payouts in Context

This interactive chart examines payouts per nonequity partner at individual firms in two ways: as a percentage of the firm's profits per equity partner (i.e, on average, how does a nonequity partner's pay compare to the profits earned by his or her equity peers) and in terms of what percentage of a firm's overall partnership is made up nonequity partners. The latter comparison offers insight into whether the average amount of compensation paid to a firm's nonequity partners varies depending on the relative size of the nonequity component of the firm's partnership.
