Blank Rome has welcomed DANIELLE GARCIA as counsel in its financial services group in Los Angeles. Garcia, who left a position as counsel at Bingham McCutchen, represents lenders in secured finance transactions.
Chadbourne & Parke has lost the cochair of its commercial litigation practice, SCOTT BALBER, to Cooley. Balber will start later this month as a partner in Cooley’s New York office, heading the firm’s financial services litigation group. His litigation work ranges from general commercial, securities, and white-collar cases to bankruptcy and intellectual property matters.
