Major League Baseball announced an eight-year, $5.6 billion television deal with ESPN to continue broadcasting America's national pastime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Covington & Burling's sports practice once again took the lead for a major professional sports league in negotiating the agreement, which is the largest in MLB history.
