Warner Music has agreed to pay $765 million to acquire the Parlophone record label from Universal Music Group and its parent company, Vivendi. For UMG and Vivendi, the sale fulfills requirements laid out by European antitrust regulators in connection with the companies' 2011 purchase of EMI Music.
