Spectra Taps Skadden for Pipeline Purchase

Houston's Spectra Energy Corp. has agreed to buy the Express-Platte Pipeline System from a group of investors in a deal that, including assumed debt, is worth $1.49 billion. Blake Cassels, Ropes, and S&C are also advising.
