Several organizations with longtime ties to Dewey & LeBoeuf, including the Harlem Children's Zone Asthma Initiative and South Brooklyn Legal Services, have been forced to cut back on the services they provide clients now that they don't have the assistance of Dewey lawyers. Many of Dewey's ongoing pro bono litigation matters, meanwhile, have shifted smoothly to the firms where lawyers from the defunct firm landed.
