Norton Rose has added a partner to its Beijing office.

Barbara Li has focused mainly on the construction and infrastructure industries. She also advises on a variety of foreign investment arrangements.

In 2010, she led a Baker & McKenzie team in advising American truck and tractor manufacturer NC2 Global LLC., a joint venture between Navistar International and Caterpillar Inc., on a $193 million joint venture agreement with Chinese company Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co. Ltd. to develop, manufacture and sell trucks and truck parts in China.

Li joined Baker & McKenzie as associate and was elected a partner in 2009.

With Li on board, Norton Rose will have 16 lawyers in Beijing, including eight partners, according to its website.
