Baker & McKenzie has hired an intellectual property partner for its Tokyo office.
Kensaku Takase, previously of counsel with Hogan Lovells, focuses on cross-border IP issues, particularly trademark and information technology outsourcing matters.
Takase worked at Hogan Lovells for 10 years in both London and Tokyo. He started his career in 1999 with Auckland-based IP boutique Baldwins. He is admitted to practice in the U.K. and New Zealand.
Baker & McKenzie has over 100 lawyers in its Tokyo office, with some 4,000 worldwide.
